The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has extended the comment period for its proposed changes to small business size standards.
The proposal would revise size standards across 338 industry groups and industries, potentially changing which companies qualify as small businesses for federal contracting purposes.
Originally scheduled to close on September 21, the comment period has been extended by an additional 60 days. Comments are now due November 20, 2026.
