For those clients and contractors who have not yet accepted the GSA Mass Mod A837 which implements Executive Order (EO) 14042 Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, GSA as of November 16, 2021 has suspended use of GSA contract(s) for those vendors. The EO requires Covid vaccinations for all contractors covered employees. Based on the GSA Safety Protocol Report 94.19% or GSA MAS contractors have accepted the Mass Mod, this online report is updated daily and indicates which vendors have accepted the mass mod and which of those who have not. Note the GSA Safety Protocol Report is public and be reviewed and by anyone logging into the website.
GSA has notified all vendors that have been suspended for not accepting Mass Mod A837 through an email titled: MAS eTools Suspension Effective November 16, 2021 for E.O. 14042 Non-Compliance. For those vendors who have not accepted the Mass Mod A837 the following actions have been taken by GSA:
- Removal of your contract information from eLibrary
- Suspension of your ability to be notified of any new opportunities in eBuy
Also, orders may not be placed against your Schedule contract until the modification has been accepted and additionally, any current task orders cannot receive extensions, renewals or an exercise of options. Upon acceptance, eTools access and ability to use the contract will be restored.
