Tip of the Month – GSA is Watching – A Renewed Focus on Compliance: October 2025

The General Services Administration regularly monitors and evaluates contractor performance on GSA MAS Schedule contracts. In serious situations, non-compliance can result in contract cancellations, or even referrals to the GSA Office of Inspector General or Department of Justice.

Contractors should stay vigilant  to several key areas of compliance, including, but not limited to:

  • Trade Agreements Act (TAA) and Essentially the Same (ETS) compliance,
  • Labor category qualifications,
  • Sales reporting/Industrial Funding Fee remittance, and
  • Meeting contract delivery terms and performance standards

Contractors that have previously had compliance issues or been required to submit corrective action plans (CAP), should pay close attention to Schedule contract compliance more than ever.  GSA views CAPs seriously – especially when there is poor implementation, lack of accountability, or minimal effort to resolve the issues according to GSA standards.  These situations can escalate quickly and jeopardize your contract.
