Tuesday Insight – eSRS.gov Has Been Retired, Subcontract Reporting Available in SAM.gov: March 3, 2026

As part of its ongoing modernization effort, General Services Administration (GSA) has retired eSRS.gov and has transitioned subcontracting plan reporting functions to SAM.gov. The first portion of functionality is live in SAM.gov as of today.

The new subcontracting plan reporting functions now in SAM.gov incorporate all statutory and regulatory requirements, including those from the Small Business Act and the upcoming FAR Overhaul, and will streamline reporting by leveraging existing SAM.gov entity and contract data. GSA finished the subcontracting plan reporting transition with the following schedule:

  • February 20, 2026

    • eSRS.gov was decommissioned and taken offline.

  • February 24, 2026 (SAM Release 1) the following capabilities were transitioned to SAM.gov:

    • Search and display (Federal and Entity users)

    • Entity workspace (Tier 1/2)

    • ISR and SSR data entry

    • Close out reporting
