GSA Expands FCP to Support Purchase Channel BPA Catalogs – April 2026

Apr 24, 2026

The General Services Administration (GSA) has announced that Purchase Channel Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) catalogs can now be supported within the FAS Catalog Platform (FCP).

This update follows a pilot launched in December 2025 involving a limited number of catalogs, including AdvantageSelect, 2GIT Products, and MRFS. Building on that effort, GSA is now extending FCP access to additional eligible Purchase Channel BPAs.

BPA Eligibility and Onboarding

Eligibility for BPA catalogs is tied to the associated Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract. MAS parent contracts will gain access to FCP first, and once successfully onboarded, their corresponding BPA catalogs will become eligible.

GSA will notify Authorized Negotiators in advance of eligibility through automated messages sent 28, 14, and 7 days prior. These notifications will include onboarding instructions and next steps. Because only individuals listed as Authorized Negotiators will receive these communications, contractors should confirm that the appropriate users are assigned to both the MAS contract and any related BPA(s).

Managing BPA Catalogs in FCP

Within FCP, MAS and BPA catalogs will be maintained separately. Each catalog will require its own updates and ongoing management.

At the same time, BPA catalogs will reflect the history of the MAS parent catalog, providing visibility into contract-level changes while allowing for BPA-specific catalog management.

Future Expansion of BPA Support

GSA’s current focus is on MAS BPAs with product catalogs that publish to GSA Advantage, including those identified as Authorized BPA Vendors through the Vendor Support Center.

Looking ahead, GSA anticipates a broader phased rollout over the next one to two years. This expansion is expected to include additional BPA types, such as:

  • GSA-awarded Purchase Channel BPAs (e.g., 2GIT Products, AdvantageSelect, MRFS2)
  • Services BPAs (e.g., SCRIPTS)
  • Requisition Channel BPAs (e.g., JANSAN, IT, MRO)
  • Fourth-party logistics (4PL) BPAs
