GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) is consolidating operations into five portfolios:
- Assist (Office of Assisted Acquisition Services)
- Centralize (Office of Centralized Acquisition Services)
- Create (Office of Acquisition Solutions Development)
- Deliver (Office of Shared Services Delivery)
- Optimize (Office of Business Optimization)
In addition, a new Transform office has been established to support automation and the implementation of AI solutions.
According to GSA, there will be no immediate changes to day-to-day operations for agencies or contractors. Core programs, such as the Multiple Award Schedule, GWACs, and OneGov, will continue as usual.
