GSA SIN Development Stakeholder Collaborative Sessions This Week

Aug 14, 2026

GSA invites you to participate in a multi-session Telecommunications Industry Working Group. The purpose of this working group is to gather industry feedback on current telecommunications offerings, acquisition processes, service delivery requirements, and opportunities for future improvement.

Our goal is to obtain structured feedback across the full acquisition and service lifecycle, including:

  • Understanding agency requirements
  • Acquisition planning and industry engagement
  • Solicitation development
  • Proposal preparation and evaluation
  • Contract and task-order award
  • Service ordering, provisioning, and fulfillment
  • Contract administration, reporting, and closeout

Phase 1: Brainstorming

Participants will be asked to identify:

  • What is working well
  • Which capabilities and processes are essential to successful service delivery
  • Where requirements, processes, or systems create challenges
  • Where gaps, inefficiencies, or barriers may limit competition, innovation, or performance
  • Opportunities to improve communication and collaboration between GSA, customer agencies, and industry
  • Ideas on SIN Consolidation: Benefits vs. Challenges
  • Ideas on simplified pricing
  • Ideas on Transactional Data Reporting and structured data exchange
  • Tools like FAS Catalog Platform (FCP)

Phase 2: Prioritization

Participants will evaluate and prioritize the identified items based on:

  • Impact on service delivery
  • Impact on competition and innovation
  • Importance to industry participation
  • Urgency and feasibility of addressing the issue

The feedback collected through this working group will help inform how GSA:

  • Organizes telecommunications offerings under the Multiple Award Schedule
  • Improves acquisition tools, processes, systems, and guidance
  • Reduces unnecessary administrative or operational burdens
  • Identifies common challenges affecting industry partners and customer agencies
  • Supports competition, innovation, and effective service delivery
  • Shapes future enhancements to GSA’s telecommunications offerings

To accommodate participants’ schedules, GSA will offer three sessions on August 18, 19, and 20. We encourage you to attend at least one session, and you are welcome to participate in all three. Registration links are listed below:
